Andy Sernovitz, 9:34 am: Something Special Is Happening Here

Group1_1As I walk into the room it's clear that this is not your normal conference.  Definitely not your normal research and measurement conference. 200+ executives are sitting in their seats -- focused, taking notes, and absorbing the presentations. What you don't see is people drifting around the halls, chatting, and making phone calls. Amazingly, I can't see anyone on their blackberry either. Without a doubt, this is a group who has a appreciation for this topic, and they are here to grab every bit of knowledge that they can.

It's going to be a good event.

Great energy and insights here at the conference. Cheers to Shelley Symonds, John Abraham, and the rest of the Satmetrix team! I'm hearing Laura DeSoto of Experian as well as others refer repeatedly to "Brand Advocates." Hooman Hakami from GE concluded his preso with a photo of a surgeon with a GE logo tatooed to his arm like Harley Davidson advocates. So my question for conference attendees and others is this:

Are you activating your Net Promoters in a structured, systematic way? If so, how are you doing this, and what have been the results?

I'm CEO/founder of zuberance, which helps companies mobilize their Net Promoters so I'm keen to learn about real-world best practices in this area. Thanks. Looking forward to more learning and fun at the conference.
